Dagopvang voor kinderen
By sending a child to daycare, you, as a parent, are choosing group care. For the child, this means a different environment with different opportunities than at home. Daycare is a place for children to meet and get to know each other, play together, eat, and sleep. They also learn to be considerate of each other and gain new experiences than at home.
We offer full-day and half-day care from Monday to Friday. Greatkidzz Daycare chooses horizontal groupings, meaning children of the same age and developmental stage are in one group. This allows us to give our children maximum attention and fully align with their developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff can optimally challenge each child at their own level, while children play together and learn from each other. We focus on the care and development of our babies, but we also invest heavily in toddlers who are eager to explore everything.
The children are grouped as follows:
– The baby group from 0 to 2 years old.
– The toddler group from 2 to 4 years old.
The children are cared for in core groups. This is the child’s regular group, where at least one professional is present. The daily schedule is followed in the groups. The space in the daycare center is specially designed for children (at least 3.5 m² per child) and often offers more or different play opportunities than at home. At the daycare center, specific attention is paid to the individual development of each child. The children are encouraged in their language development and creative play.
There are various activities for each age group, each tailored to their own individual world. They have a creative moment every day, where they can tear, cut, paste, paint, and so on. The creations can be taken home after a while.
We use VVE (pre-school and early childhood education). The developmentally focused activities offered at our daycare center are developed using the Uk & Puk method. This way, Greatkidzz ensures that the children at our daycare center are well-prepared for primary school.
